    Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education and retail operations.     **COMPENSATION:** The salary range for this position is **$60,940.00-65,000.00** If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. ​

    Job Responsibilities

    + Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities.

    + Develop recipes as well as standardized production recipes to ensure consistent quality.

    + Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and contribute to planning menus.

    + Purchase food and supplies.

    + Ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen.

    + Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrates culinary techniques.

    Qualifications

    + Requires 2-3 years of experience in a related position

    + Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience

    + Culinary degree preferred

    + Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession

    + Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems

    + Requires oral, reading and written communication skills
