    ### Job Duties

    Lead the delivery of technical solutions in support of both corporate and technology strategies; set the direction for core operations applications (SAP, Warehouse Management, and Business Intelligence); oversee multiple functions or large teams within a department; coordinate cross-functional initiatives with significant impact on departmental performance; set and align departmental objectives with organizational strategy; help to define long-term goals, vision, and strategies to support business growth; translate QBP strategies and business opportunities into a viable applications roadmap; provide oversight of application configuration, development, and maintenance; collaborate with Director of Platform Engineering to ensure alignment of custom and acquired application strategies and solutions; maintain a staffing plan that supports current obligations and future opportunities; manage vendor relationships for the core applications, resellers, and systems integrators; promote technology strategies and tactics to senior leadership; provide technology strategy direction to application manager, technical product manager, and/or business as needed to align feature requests and the product roadmap with technology department obligations; with SAP Application Manager, work to enroll and education business users in SAP best practices to maximize the delivered value of the products and ensure the QBP is realizing appropriate value from all managed service engagements; act as a critical change management contributor, limiting custom development / modification of SAP products; provide QBP distribution leadership with appropriate technology perspective as new solutions and/or automations are explored, ensure that selected solutions are not in conflict with QBPS technology, application use, cybersecurity, ore support expectations; partner with Director of Platform Engineering to ensure QBP’s cloud architecture/ strategy allows for the continued improvement of Business Intelligence technical obligations (ETL, data engineering, data model development); collaborate with data analysis contributors to provide technology perspective as new data needs are explored, or as technology resources are required. Position is based at Quality Bicycle Products at 6400 West 105th St., Bloomington, MN 55438. Remote work permitted from the following states; MN, CO, PA, NV, TX, with travel requirement to headquarters 1 week per quarter.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, systems analyst, or related technical position.

     

    *Specific skills and other requirements:

    5 years of software application team leadership experience.

    5 years of application development experience with Enterprise Resource Planning, and Warehouse Management Systems

    3 years of application development experience with Business Intelligence.

     

    Must have performed a project with warehouse automation solutions in the form of implementation or application enhancement.

     

    Must have performed a project with labor management solutions, cartonization, or ERP to WMS implementations/ integrations.

     

    Must have performed a project with SAP ERP solutions in the form of implementation or application enhancement. Position is based at Quality Bicycle Products at 6400 West 105th St., Bloomington, MN 55438. Remote work permitted from the following states; MN, CO, PA, NV, TX, with travel requirement to headquarters 1 week per quarter.
