The employer seeks seasonal agricultural workers to assist with the production of alfalfa, corn, potatoes, small grains, and soybeans. Workers will perform all duties related to crop production and harvesting. Job duties include field preparation; attaching, operating, adjusting, and servicing farm implements and equipment including tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, combines, irrigation equipment, and manure spreaders; planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, irrigating, and harvesting crops; mixing, loading, and applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other materials according to label instructions; monitoring equipment for proper operation and reporting or making minor repairs; hauling crops, supplies, and tools using farm trucks; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or with conveyors, forklifts, and augers; maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, pivots, ditches, pumps, buildings, fences, and farm structures; cleaning fields, work areas, and equipment; grading, sorting, weighing, and packaging crops to meet quality standards; inspecting plants for insects, disease, and growth conditions; maintaining accurate production and operational records; and performing post-harvest activities including crop storage, treatment, and facility maintenance.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

### Additional Compensation
The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
