    Jabil, Inc. - Manufacturing Test Development EngineerJob Summary**The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer designs, develops, and implements robust test solutions for Jabil's diverse product portfolio, ensuring efficient production and the highest quality standards.Job Responsibilities*** Develop and implement automated test programs, fixtures, and systems for manufacturing processes, covering a range of electronic and mechanical assemblies.* Collaborate with design engineering, production, and quality teams to define test requirements, specifications, and strategies.* Design and build test fixtures, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components, utilizing CAD software and other relevant tools.* Write and debug test software using various programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C#, C++) and integrate with test equipment.* Perform test coverage analysis and optimize test processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and defect detection.* Troubleshoot and resolve complex test equipment and product failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.* Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring test readiness and smooth production ramp-up.* Document test procedures, specifications, and validation reports in accordance with Jabil's quality management system.* Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on test processes and equipment.* Stay abreast of new test technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve test capabilities.Job Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.* 3+ years of experience in test engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.* Proven experience in designing and developing automated test solutions for electronic products.* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C#, C++).* Strong understanding of electrical circuits, digital and analog electronics, and measurement techniques.* Experience with various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and automated test equipment (ATE).* Familiarity with CAD software for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control methodologies.* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.* Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

     

    The pay range for this role is $83,400 - $150,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: January 30, 2026.

     

    As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
