Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Construction Site Manager** with a strong background in **civil engineering** to oversee and manage all on-site activities for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Project Coordination:** Plan, organize, and supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
+ **Team Leadership:** Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
+ **Quality Assurance:** Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
+ **Budget & Cost Control:** Track project expenses, manage resources effectively, and report on financial performance.
+ **Health & Safety Compliance:** Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
+ **Stakeholder Communication:** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and project managers regarding site progress and issues.
+ **Problem-Solving:** Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges promptly to avoid delays.
+ **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress reports.
Qualifications
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
+ **Experience:** Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction site management, with proven expertise in civil engineering projects.
+ **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of structural design, earthworks, concrete, and infrastructure development.
+ **Certifications:** PMP, OSHA, or equivalent safety certifications preferred.
+ **Soft Skills:** Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Attributes
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
