• Facilities Technician

    System One (Rockville, MD)


    Job Title: Facilities Technician

     

    Schedule: 7:45am-4:45pm Monday-Friday

     

    Duration: 1 year contract

     

    Start: ASAP

    Responsibilities:

    + Repairs infrastructure and responds to leaks, painting/patching, escorts pest control and other vendors as necessary.

    + Performs various work activities in the Manufacturing Cleanroom and other GMP spaces. Office furniture assembly and furniture/people moves.

    + Assists with conference and training room set up and clean up for meetings and events.

    + Contacts vendors for plumbing repairs, service repairs and obtains documentation from the vendors.

    + Escorts service providers to designated areas as necessary

    + Completes and uploads BMRAM Work Orders and SNOW Facilities Tickets.

    + Ensures mechanical spaces are clean (vacuum/ mop), change light bulbs, Assists with delivery of supplies to end user.

    + Provides cross functional support for general facilities systems and raises more complex problems or concerns to senior management for guidance and assistance. 8.) Ensures work is appropriately communicated to system operators and key stakeholders, including timelines and any issues that impact the work area, to avoid disruptions.

    + Performs other tasks and assists with special projects as requested.

    Requirements:

    + High School Degree or equivalent

    + Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

    + 2-3 years of experience working in regulated, controlled environment with access control

    + Ability to communicate across various levels of the organization.
