Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting all US sell side contracts and proposals with a focus on two core customer groups: Enterprise Account Management (EAM) and Customer Solutions teams (and those supported Business Units). From an EAM and Sales support perspective, the Contracts & Proposals Specialist is responsible for partnering and aligning with the EAM and Sales teams to support the processes of pricing/rebate agreement negotiations and drafting, discount management, and Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI) responses. This individual will lead all efforts in both the creation of and organization of all RFP/RFI submissions as well as the drafting of all contract terms and conditions in collaboration with various business partners throughout the organization including, Legal, EAM, Pricing, Contract Management, Finance, and other Commercial Operations groups as needed.
+ Pricing/Rebate Contract Development – Partner with EAM and Sales leaders to develop strategic contract and rebate programs that are financially beneficial to both Stryker and our customers. Review sales proposals for products, service, and BU specific contract language to determine proposal feasibility. Review, develop, edit, and write original proposals and other sales-related documents, leverage contract language to deliver strong, market relevant contracts.
+ Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI) Responses – Assist EAM and Sales leadership in drafting major contract proposals. Ensure timely and complete bid delivery for all RFP/RFI. Run lead on creating and coordinating our RFP/RFI responses to deliver a consistent, complete, and professional bid proposal package ensuring all components are accurate and complete. Maintain contact with various departments such as sales, legal, finance, distribution, customer service, cross collaboration within Commercial Operations, and quality/regulatory departments.
+ Pricing/Rebate Contract Management – Partner with EAM and Sales to ensure that we are fully executing pricing/rebate contracts for all customers who receive discounts.
+ Master Terms & Conditions – Build key partnerships and collaborate with our external Customers and Legal for a master terms and conditions agreement template as applicable to deliver speed and efficiency in how we contract with our external customers.

+ Upload signed contracts into repositories and maintain those repositories in an organized way
+ Continuously review internal processes and technology to identify improvement opportunities and develop implementable strategies targeted to improve effectiveness and efficiency
+ Manage relationships with peers in internal client organizations (Contracting, Customer Intelligence, Legal, EAM, Contract Management and across all Commercial Operations, etc.)
