    Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

    Type: Contract

    Compensation: $53.00 hourly

     

    Contractor Work Model: Hybrid

     

    System One is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL.

    Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

    + Provide structural engineering services and producing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings.

    Structural Engineer Requirements:

    + 10+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience

    + An accredited bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.

    + Detailed knowledge of structural steel design principles and industry methodologies

    + Significant structural steel connection design experience

    + Proficiency with structural codes and standards

    + Extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and components

    + Strong computer skills - proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO.
