Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).
The International Trade Specialist is a key contributor to the company’s Compliance and supply chain management processes. The position requires a strong background in Import brokerage (emphasis on classification, compliance, documentation and operations as well as knowledge of the supply chain process.
Responsibilities include:
+ Assisted with HTS and ECCN numbers for all Import/products.
+ Maintaining classification database, conducting import audits on broker filings and supervising broker activity. Supporting the PTNA USMCA programs including complying with accurate data for certificates.
+ Assisting plant/facility personnel in all areas of import compliance.
Import / Customs Compliance:
+ Customs broker/freight forwarder requests (CEVA, DHL, & UPS).
+ HTS classification and ACH statement review for assigned service providers
+ CBP entry review and logging
+ Internal compliance requests
Logistics:
+ Import LSP invoice review and coding (CEVA, DSV)
+ Documentation retrieval / logistics verification
Various (reports/requests):
+ Monthly duties report
+ Monthly on-time report
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of commensurate experience required
+ 3+ years of Customs and Supply Chain experience required
+ Import brokerage experience with Foreign Freight Forwarder (emphasis on classification, compliance, export and supply chain knowledge) preferred
+ Broker's License or CCS certification preferred
+ SAP experience preferred
+ Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel required

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $105,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
