    JOB SUMMARY:

    We are seeking an experienced IT Application Development Manager to lead our Application Development Functional Team and serve as a critical liaison between the business and IT. This role oversees Business Analysts, ensuring the successful delivery, enhancement, and support of General Tax Administration applications that drive organizational efficiency and innovation. The Application Development Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, delivery, quality assurance, training, and customer support associated with business processes and information systems. Reporting to the IT Application Development Core Process Owner, you will be accountable for all aspects of planning, coordination, delivery, quality assurance, training, and customer support, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to IT Service Management (ITSM) standards.

    Some duties include:

    + Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts professionals.

    + Oversee the full application development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

    + Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.

    + Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational standards.

    + Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development.

    + Drive continuous improvement in application performance, usability, reliability, and security.

    + Implement and maintain best practices, methodologies, and governance standards for application development.

    + Work collaboratively with technical architects, application developers, infrastructure teams, program managers, and executive stakeholders.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Three years of professional experience in application development, system analysis. *

    + Two years of supervisory or team-lead experience. *

    + * Bachelor’s degree

    PREFERENCES:

    + Preference may be given to candidates with experience managing Business Analysts.

    SPECIAL NOTES:

    + The location for this job is in Tallahassee, FL.

    + The salary will not exceed $82,000

     

    SALARY: $65,270.28 - $134,665.56 / annually
