Description and Requirements
Love talking about food and building relationships? As an Outside Sales Representative (OSR), you’ll partner with grocery store teams to grow Tyson sales, secure new item placement, and bring our products to life on shelves and displays. You’ll support store events, drive promotional execution, and create an excellent in-store experience for retailers and shoppers.
What will you do?
+ Visit all assigned Tyson retail stores in your territory on a monthly schedule.
+ Present new Tyson items to store buyers, secure orders, and drive authorization.
+ Sell in promotional programs and gain off-shelf displays whenever possible.
+ Review and confirm distribution on all existing Tyson items to ensure they are carried on shelves.
+ Support merchandising needs, including stocking, rotating product, cleaning shelves, tagging/signing, and maintaining displays.
+ Assist with special store projects such as demos, remodels, trade events, new store openings, and food shows.
+ Maintain current knowledge of Tyson products, new launches, and category trends.
+ Build rapport with client regional managers and keep them informed of store issues, competitive activity, and trends.
+ Ensure full distribution, planogram compliance, and strong display presence in assigned accounts.
+ Perform operational tasks such as checking date codes, operating pallet jacks, handling materials, assembling/disassembling pallets, and supporting supplier audits.
+ Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the business and store teams.

**Experience and Qualifications** :
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ At least two years of grocery retail or CPG experience is required.
+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and grasping.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to drive for extended periods.
+ Ability to work in extremely cold environments such as refrigerated and freezer sections.
+ Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak, hear, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
+ Ability to operate a tablet, email, Zoom, Excel, and other basic technology tools.
+ Strong vision and hand dexterity to handle displays, materials, and equipment.
+ Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
+ Understanding of safety standards and willingness to stay informed about market trends to support sales efforts.
