    Special Education Teacher – $55/hr – Lake Oswego, OR – Full-Time

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking two Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to special education students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role involves planning and implementing student programs, delivering special instruction, providing tutorial assistance, and collaborating with general education staff.

    Assignment Details:

    + Location: Lake Oswego, OR

    + Start Date: ASAP or January 12, 2026 (depending on position)

    + End Date: June 15, 2026

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, typical school hours (7:30 AM–4:30 PM)

    + Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

    + Duration: 6 months

    + Pay Rate: $55/hr

    + Openings: 2

    + Grade Levels: High School

    Positions Available:

    + Learning Specialist – Pathways Program

    + Caseload: 6–8 students

    + Full-time through 2/13

    + Learning Specialist – Learning Center

    + Caseload: 27–28 students

    + Full-time starting 1/12 through 6/15

    Responsibilities:

    + Direct instruction and IEP case management

    + Collaboration with parents, students, and staff

    + Support for students with developmental delays and adaptive skill needs

    + Implement communication systems (AAC), behavioral/social supports, and structured classroom settings

    + Work closely with specialists (OT, PT, AT, SLP, Autism)

    Requirements:

    + Active Oregon Special Education Teaching License through TSPC

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum 1 year teaching experience (preferred)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
