Amentum is seeking a dedicated results-oriented software engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren H20.

Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:

+ Developing software for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Fire Control Systems

+ Developing graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users.

+ Developing software updates using C++, and implementing DevSecOps tools

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computer Science, and/or Physics with entry level experience.

+ Must have (or be able to obtain) an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret

+ Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.

+ Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing.

+ Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies

+ Source code tracking tools (i.e Git, Bitbucket)

+ C++ (Ada also Preferred)

+ Ability to Commute to Dahlgren, VA
