Description
+ The Advanced Clinical Research team is a pivotal bridge to support innovation projects and advance quantitative clinical methodology and measurement science
+ This position will provide applied statistics and data science/analytics support to innovation projects, and contribute to scientific and clinical development and execution.
+ They will work with senior ACR scientists to deliver reproducible analyses and to support mechanistic insights during clinical development of new technologies and methods.
+ The role contributes to study design, collaborates with internal and external teams to execute studies, and analyzes and interprets data using sound programming and statistical practice.
+ This position conducts clinical studies under supervision in accordance with GCP and the company’s SOPs.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Contribute to scientific projects, study execution, and reports within set timelines using rigorous quantitative standards.
+ Clinical study execution, following Good Clinical Practice, inclusive of data management, statistical planning, and reproducible analysis workflows in Python and SQL.
+ Perform bio instrument-based acquisitions and imaging data handling and analysis in internal clinical studies as directed, including standardized acquisition, and QA/QC
+ Work with other ACR senior scientists and partner with the upstream technology innovation team, formulation labs, and external partners to enable corporate innovation projects and provide timely, well-documented, statistically sound clinical support.
+ Contribute to converting study design or synopsis to full protocol and analysis plans, support study planning/execution, monitoring, and investigator engagement, review study reports and data analyses, and prepare clear reports of study results.
+ Literature research on select topics in clinical methods, statistics, and data analysis, as directed.
Qualifications
• Minimum, BS degree in a scientific or quantitative field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in a research or industry environment involving quantitative analysis of data (university, research institute, industry lab, cosmetic/healthcare, clinical testing, or related fields).
• Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting while maintaining precision and audit-ready documentation; acute attention to detail is required.
• Independent problem solver, with fast ability to pivot as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prefer, Undergraduate degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Working knowledge of clinical measurements and methodologies, and Good Clinical Practice is a plus.
• Proven effective use of Python and SQL for data ingestion, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, with familiarity reproducible workflows and GUI.
• Proven effective use of AI and programming tools.
• Proven effective use of Databricks and Jupyter notebooks is a plus. Bioinformatics experience, such as multi-omics analysis, is a plus
