Responsibilities

IMMEDIATELY HIRING Extrusion Operators for our Franklin Park location. Do you have at least one year of experience operating Extrusion or Thermoforming machines? Extrusion Machine Operator - Hiring Immediately - Franklin Park, IL.

Compensation Includes:

+ Starting rate of **$21.32 - $26.93 an hour**

Available Shift:

+ Night Shift

+ 7:00pm - 7:00am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization

+ Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine

+ Provide innovative solutions for production issues

+ Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel

+ Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities

+ Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects

+ Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines

+ Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required

Qualifications:

+ 1+ years' working in a manufacturing environment as an Extrusion Machine Operator

+ Experience and willingness to work 12 hour rotating scheules including every other weekend

+ Ability to show up for work prior to shift and be prepared to get the day going on time

+ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting experience working with Extrusion Machines

+ Excellent communication skills, detailed record keeping per the prescribed frequency

+ Analytical and math skills

+ Ability to perform quality checks and have an understanding of production measurement tools

+ Knowledge of product quality standards

+ Comfortable wearing PPE such as hairnets, beard-nets, steel toed shoes/boots, ear protection and bump-caps when required

+ Manual dexterity
