About the job you’re considering
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior API Tester with deep expertise in Telecom BSS/OSS systems and proven experience working with major telcos such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining API test strategies and automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and performance of telecom services.
Your role
+ Design and implement comprehensive API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
+ Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
+ Conduct Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid Service) testing with strong domain knowledge.
+ Execute test design, test execution, and defect management processes.
+ Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear status updates.
Your skills and experience
+ 6 years of experience in API testing, with at least 3 years in the Telecom domain.
+ Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI).
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and CI/CD integration.
+ Preferred Qualifications
+ ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration testing.
+ Experience with performance testing tools and security validation.
