The Team:
The Mission of the Agile Program Management Organization is to provide an effective division-wide framework for identifying, prioritizing, and successfully executing the Portfolio of Initiatives and Projects, delivering the highest possible value to our customers, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and relentless improvement.
Responsibilities and Impact:
The Tech Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple technology projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects and alignment with strategic goals.
+ Leadcross-functional team and conductend-to-end project management for ITand businessinitiatives,including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations across multiple business units
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingbusiness owners,developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives
+ Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships whilemaintainingadherence to project management methodologies and governance frameworks,including agile and SAFE
+ Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies, proactivelyidentifyingpotential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery
+ Facilitate stakeholder communication through regularmeetings andstatus reporting, executive briefings, and change management activities to ensure transparency and buy-in
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team,Mentor junior project team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices across the organization
+ Support compliance, governance, and regulatory alignment within Agile delivery workflows
+ Analyze current workflows and processes, recommending and implementing improvements. Drive adoption of best practices in project and program management
**Compensation/Benefits Information** **:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What** **W** **e’re** **L** **ooking** **F** **or** **:
Basic Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a technical environment.
+ Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional or cross-organizational programs/projects.
+ Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and/or SAFE frameworks.
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern enterprise IT infrastructure.
+ Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ADO, Confluence, MS Office, SharePoint).
+ Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
+ Experience with risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated leadership in driving teams toward successful project outcomes.
+ Ability to influence and negotiate across teams and leadership levels.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
+ PMP (Project Management Professional)certified
+ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification
+ Have experience with Agile and SAFE frameworks, worked on projects using agile methods
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
+ Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
