Job Summary

At Wolfgang Puck Catering, exceptional cuisine begins long before it reaches the kitchen. As **Garden Manager** at Sony Pictures Studios, you will lead the care and cultivation of a year-round culinary garden that directly supports seasonal menus and chef-driven concepts across the campus. This is a true garden-to-plate role, working in close partnership with culinary leadership to grow ingredients with intention, purpose, and flavor.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who understands the rhythm of Southern California growing seasons and thrives at the intersection of horticulture and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage all daily garden operations, including watering, seeding, planting, pruning, harvesting, and soil health.

+ Plan and maintain year-round planting schedules aligned with menu cycles and chef requests.

+ Collaborate closely with Chefs to determine what to grow for upcoming seasonal dishes and special events.

+ Execute crop rotation and succession planting to ensure consistent harvests throughout the year.

+ Monitor plant health, irrigation systems, pest management, and soil conditions using sustainable, organic-forward practices.

+ Maintain garden tools, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure efficiency and safety.

+ Track harvest yields and communicate availability clearly with culinary teams.

+ Support tastings, special events, and activations that showcase the garden-to-plate philosophy.

+ Ensure the garden reflects Wolfgang Puck Catering’s standards for quality, sustainability, and visual presentation\

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience managing a culinary, market, or production garden in a year-round growing climate.

+ Strong knowledge of herbs, vegetables, edible flowers, and seasonal growing cycles appropriate for Southern California.

+ Experience partnering with chefs or foodservice teams.

+ Familiarity with irrigation systems and sustainable gardening practices.

+ Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

+ Organized, proactive, and passionate about fresh, ingredient-driven cuisine.

+ Genuine enthusiasm for connecting agriculture directly to culinary execution
