    Job Description

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    Researching specific product attributes for a given list of items (trade name, description, units of measure, etc.) that are most commonly purchased from their facilities.

     

    Using google, manufacturer/vendor websites and internal tools to gather accurate data.

     

    Follow order of operations to create standardized product descriptions

     

    Assign units of measure to industry abbreviations to prevent vendor rejections.

     

    Utilize Excel for sorting, filtering, and organizing large datasets - excel is their primary tool for capturing and maintaining data.

     

    Ensure product information in Excel remains clean, accurate, and up to date.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    Ability to research online, and adhere to structured processes.

     

    Data Experience - Master Data Management (MDM) preferred (Integrity, analytics, data coordination, procurement, product specialists, configuration, organizing, analyzing)

     

    Experience interacting with vendors and working with units of measure.

     

    Excel Knowledge (sorting, filtering, tables)

     

    Associate's Degree

    Huge Attention to Detail PLUSSES:

    MDM experience

    Accounting degree - Bachelors

     

    Supply Chain Experience
