The Global Planning & Analytics Intern will work on different projects to improve the Advanced Planning System and related supply planning processes for the benefit of the Industrial team and the optimization of the master plans. The Intern will work with different teams to learn, document and improve the Planning processes at the global level, for internal and external suppliers. The Intern will also support data review and clean-up efforts in the area to facilitate more efficient and accurate planning activities.
This position is a hybrid role that is based out of our New York City office. The rate for this position is $25 per hour.
Key Accountabilities
Review & Reporting
+ Comprehensive Review of Global Planning & Analytics Team’s “Monthly Planning Processes”
+ Documentation of the model of our Advanced Planning System
+ Identify improvements to the Advanced Planning System model to better optimize Master Plans and Material Requirement Plans
+ Identify opportunities to improve the existing planning processes that could led to the optimization of the supplier network
System Analysis and Clean-up
+ Support Data review and clean-up efforts within planning systems & reports
+ Includes proactive clean-up of existing order reports
+ Master data clean-up within planning system
Safety
+ Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.
Required Qualifications
+ Currently enrolled in Business or Supply Chain field curriculum program
+ Proficient in English
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and attention to detail
+ Strong MS Office skills particularly using Excel, Power Point, Word
Preferred Qualifications
+ MBA student
+ Power BI
+ Experience in Advanced Planning System (i.e. Blue Yonder, Kinaxis)
