Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to perform root cause analysis of both electrical and mechanical analysis on customer returned products. Confirm, and identifying a wide range of failure mechanisms of all Xylem products, as required. The initial focus will be on 4” Centri Pro motors and controls including initial applications and units returned from the field. Customer interface will be in the form of either factory schools or verbal an email.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Maintain central database on product failures.

• Work with QA, Product Engineering and Product Management to provide feedback

on failure modes.

• Reduce time to perform inspections and relay findings to Claims Dept.

• Improve quality of non-conforming products by establishing failure analysis and obtaining corrective action.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Serve as Safety lead for daily meeting, if needed

• Occasional support to Auburn Quality - facilitating daily operations and support Quality Engineers as needed
