At Stantec our Tradewell Fellowship is a one-year program in front-end Healthcare Planning and Design in one of our participating healthcare offices.
The Fellow will benefit from:

As a Tradewell Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to:
- Work alongside senior healthcare planners and designers on a variety of healthcare projects, ranging from initial master planning efforts to design.

Your Responsibilities
We are currently seeking applications for our Tradewell Fellowship program beginning in Summer 2026. This is a one-year program in front-end Healthcare Planning and Design in one of our participating healthcare offices. The opportunity provides focused, fast-tracked exposure to collaborating with clients and thought leaders, positioning tomorrow’s healthcare planners and designers for rapid career advancement to design, build, and heal. The fellow is provided the opportunity to work with senior planners and designers on a variety of healthcare projects, ranging from initial master planning efforts to design, while gaining exclusive exposure to clients and consultants. Fellows also benefit from the unique experience and career guidance that comes from working with leaders in the healthcare industry and having access to in-house educational presentations and the network of past Tradewell Fellows. The ideal fellowship candidate is a dedicated professional who desires to be a lifelong learner and mentor to others in the healthcare architecture industry. To develop expertise in an area of their interest, the fellow will select a topic related to the design of healing spaces and create a body of work suitable for presentation and/or publication during their fellowship year. The fellowship includes employment with Page and attendance at a relevant conference of choice related to healthcare planning, design, and construction. The Tradewell Fellowship has produced many talented healthcare planners and designers, and this tradition is integral to Page’s culture. Multiple Tradewell Fellowships may be awarded, based on merit, in separate participating healthcare office locations.
Education & Experience
At the commencement of the Tradewell Fellowship, the applicant must hold at least an NAAB, CACB, or NAAB substantially equivalent accredited first professional degree in Architecture.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US for the contiguous 12-month period. The Tradewell Fellowship typically follows a June-to-June cycle. However, there is some flexibility for those who need to begin in May or July. Knowledge of Revit and 3D software is preferred. Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment are necessary. Prior internship experience is preferred.
Understanding LEED principles is a plus.

- Resume(one page)
- Statement of Intent/Purpose - In 35 words or less, describe how you see the Tradewell Fellowship impacting your journey in healthcare architecture.
- Personal Essay - In one page or less, write about your general architecture and healthcare architecture accomplishments that have influenced your interest in healthcare design and explain why you would be a good fit for the Tradewell Fellowship.
- Design Work - A compilation of images and text that represents your design work.
- Showcase multiple projects.
- Maximum of 10 pages of design content, no larger than 11”x17.”
- Images may include (but are not limited to): models, presentation boards, freehand drawings, illustrations, computer drawings, photographs, renderings, etc. Design work must specify individual verses group projects and your role within the project.
- Three (3) Reference Letters - Minimum of one (1) from an academic source is preferred.
- One (1) professional reference is preferred.
- Each letter should specify your qualifications for the Tradewell Fellowship.
- These letters should be sent directly from your references, submitted via email to [email protected].

Pay Range:
• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas-$66,800.00 - $93,500.00 Annually
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
