    What You'll Do

     

    The Strategy and Innovation Program Manager provides coordination and oversight of strategic and analytic initiatives central to advancing business education at Ross. You will report to the Managing Director of the Office of Undergraduate Programs. You will administer comprehensive pre-college programming, organizing efforts around competency-based education, innovation grant management, and data collection/assessment to support curriculum improvement and accreditation. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners, analyze outcomes, and inform decision-making that supports student success and program impact.

    Responsibilities*

    + **Strategic Program Management**

    + Lead academic programs, including the Teaching Innovation Grant cycle.

    + Design, manage, and assess the Summer Business Academy (SBA), overseeing curriculum coordination, recruitment, student experience, logistics, and post-program evaluation.

    + Develop and refine workflows, resources, and partnership structures that support program operations and continuous improvement.

    + Oversee program budgets and prepare summaries for leadership.

    + **Data, Assessment & Continuous Improvement**

    + Conduct data analysis (Python, R, or similar) to evaluate curricular and co-curricular learning outcomes and support AACSB assurance-of-learning needs.

    + Design and administer surveys, focus groups, and market/competitor analyses for SBA, Innovation grants, and other programs.

    + Produce high-quality assessment reports for faculty, leadership, donors, and accrediting bodies.

    + Support faculty and grant recipients in developing assessment plans.

    + **Collaboration, Engagement & Communication**

    + Build and sustain partnerships with faculty, high schools, community organizations, donors, and campus partners.

    + Be a liaison among students, faculty, program sponsors, and leadership.

    + Represent Ross at events, conferences, and recruitment activities to enhance program visibility and impact.

    + Surface student experience and climate insights, contributing to inclusive, data-informed program enhancements.

    Required Qualifications*

    + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience)

    + 5+ years of experience in program management, higher education administration, student affairs or related fields.

    + Direct experience managing programs or special projects from launch to assessment.

    + Experience in the collection, interpretation, and presentation of qualitative and quantitative data; familiarity with Python, R or similar programming software helpful.

    + Experience preparing and delivering communications and presentations to varied audiences, including senior leadership.

    + Experience managing budgets and tracking program expenditures.

    + Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and tools, and the ability to identify opportunities for applying AI in strategic plans.

    + Proficiency in Google and Microsoft application suites.

    Additional Information

     

    The posting range for this position is $64,000 - $79,000. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
