Description
The Senior Applications Specialist will lead project delivery teams to develop and advance software technology and tools throughout the organization. This position will guide the development, testing, and implementation of project delivery initiatives through Procore, ensuring they align with budget constraints and internal and external client needs. The specialist will also evaluate roadmap items for value and provide training to end users on the software and tools.
What you will do
+ Lead and develop solutions for applications, reports and dashboards specifically for Procore for internal and external clients, including model-driven apps, canvas apps, and portal apps.
+ Lead and develop Procore solutions for the global practices.
+ Lead implementation of security and automation flow routines within Procore applications.
+ Review the research into new software functionality to support corporate Procore project delivery and data management initiatives.
+ Prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates and report project performance.
+ Applies knowledge and experience to complex projects and find's/develops technology solutions in Procore to satisfy business requirements.
+ Responsible for coordination between disciplines and Global Practices to develop software and technology that will optimize business processes and deliverables, provide seamless integration, and improve data management.
+ Build effective relationships with existing clients and develop new internal business opportunities.
+ Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
+ Train end users as well as troubleshooting and front-line support for any super users.
+ Project setup assistance.
+ Vet requests and update templates for creation of new projects.
+ Audit early projects for adherence to standards.
+ Continuous improvement of work instructions and training materials.
+ Evaluate application roadmap for value-add items, then communicate and implement.
+ Build high-value AI agents within the application.
+ Business perspective support for reporting.
+ Assist any integration requests with ERP or other applications.
+ Help develop application-based solutions that can replace other applications for licensing cost reduction and better end user experience.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related degree and 8 years relevant experience required.
+ Consulting experience in the architectural, engineering and/or construction industries preferred.
+ Software development and programming experience required.
+ A minimum of 3 years of Procore experience is preferred.
+ Understanding of software and hardware system architecture.
+ Excellent analytical skills.
+ Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
+ Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
+ Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
