Project Accountant

New Albany, OH

$35-50/hr

*Position will be fully onsite

Kelly is seeking a Project Accountant to work with our client, an award-winning engineering organization, on a temporary basis through the end of 2026 to assist with the construction of a new data center. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader that is experiencing great success globally.

The Project Accountant will:

+ Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and costs in ProCore and Microsoft Dynamics

+ Lead bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers

+ Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance

+ Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects

+ Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts

+ Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records

+ Provide financial support and guidance to project teams

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+ Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role

+ Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

+ Experience with ProCore (project management software) recommended

+ Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
