Your role and responsibilities

Novel Quantum Processors: you would be responsible for helping to design, simulate, measure and interpret results for new quantum processors and associated components.

Required technical and professional expertise

* PhD in Physics or related field.

* Experience laying out devices and simulating devices using electromagnetic and quantum physics.

* Experience using and modifying software to control quantum devices.

* Experience of using digital sources and digitizing hardware to control quantum devices.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Superconducting device experience utilizing Josephson junctions.

* Experience in loading microwave quantum devices in cryogenic systems.

* Experience with superconducting surfaces and proximitized superconductors.

* Experience with designing microwave circuits.

* Experience with dilution fridges.

* Knowledge of quantum error correction codes and the necessary hardware needed to run these codes.
