    The Transportation Manager will assist with the execution of the company fleet and company automobile programs.

    _Responsibilities:_

    + Assist with the development and execution of fleet safety and sustainability objectives

    + Ensures that safety technology tools are used, results are examined, trend data is analyzed and plans are developed to reduce and prevent safety incidents

    + Ensures and promotes a consistent driver safety culture throughout the organization

    + Develop and execute a fuel conservation plan to reduce fuel usage and improve overall MPG

    + Conduct periodic location inspections regarding DOT records and all transportation compliance procedures. Conduct reviews to ensure that compliance systems are being used and effective

    _Requirements:_

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation

    + Minimum of 3 to 5 years' related experience in transportation

    + Must possess working knowledge of the following: DOT regulations, Transportation Safety practices, Accident investigation and prevention, FMCSA, and CSA 2010

    + Proficient in MS Office products

    + High organizational and Information management skills

    + Leadership and change management training is a plus

    + Proven leadership results

    + Commercial motor vehicle driving experience a plus

    + Experience building and executing strategic plans

    + Ability to work in teams of an extended enterprise

    + Sustainability experience (fuel usage reduction) is a plus
