BayCare is looking for Patient Care Technicians to join our team!

**Patient Care Technician** positions are available with Bartow Regional Medical Center. If you would like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on care for patients with a leader in healthcare, please join BayCare as a Patient Care Technician.

+ Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend

+ Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend

+ Day shifts are 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

+ Night shifts are 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

+ Pool (with different shift commitments ranging from 2 twelve-hour shifts to 3 twelve-hour shifts per month, more shifts available if desired)

The Patient Care Technician:

+ Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

+ Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.

Position Requires:

+ A minimum of one year of CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with outside of the classroom setting clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals

+ High School Diploma, GED or Certificate of Completion (minimum)

+ Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)

+ Ability to work Full time hours is a plus!
