    **BayCare Alliant Hospital** is a leader in long-term acute care, dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of independence. We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled **Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)** to join our rehab team and make a difference every day. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services that restore function, promote independence, and improve quality of life for patients in a long-term acute care setting.

    Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

    + Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.

    + Provide therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, ADLs, and cognitive function.

    + Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment.

    + Document patient progress accurately and timely per hospital and regulatory standards.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    + Maintain compliance with safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + OTA (Occupational Therapy Assistant)

    + Required Associate's Occupational Therapy

    + Preferred Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

    + Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
