Job overview and responsibilities
As an Analyst on the Customer Insights & Analytics team, you will support a multi-phased insights strategy based on a continuous cycle of listening, interpreting, driving action and monitoring customer centric data. We are seeking creative, curious, and driven individuals who enjoy solving tough problems with data and insights. This analyst will partner with key operational and product leaders to deliver strategic insights that drive improvements in the customer experience at United.
This role requires a passion for customers, attention to detail, excellent analytical abilities and strong business acumen. Ideal candidates will have experience with extracting insights from large volumes of data and be able to clearly communicate findings and make recommendations to business partners responsible for strategic business decisions. **This position is considered Chicago-based hybrid and will require two days in office per week.**
+ Extracts data from a variety of sources for use in analysis and models
+ Completes ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
+ Analyze and generate actionable insights from structured and unstructured data
+ Effectively manage active projects to help ensure that all engagements are delivered at or above stakeholder expectations
+ Collaborate with internal teams to review feedback and insights, recommend changes for implementation, and action on those that deliver a positive, consistent and seamless customer experience
+ Design and set up analytical reports to address business objects
+ Schedule and maintain trending reports and alerts to key business partners that are ultimately responsible for addressing business initiatives
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 2+ years' experience in analytical role (analysis, information science, data visualization or other relevant quantitative field)
+ Experience in developing and fostering relationships with leaders across all levels
+ Expertise with quantitative analysis tools and querying relational databases (SQL, SAS, R)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
+ Initiative, self-motivation and a strong sense of urgency skills
+ Ability to prepare executive level presentations
+ Up to 10% travel
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
+ Master's degree
+ Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI or other visualization tools
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
