    Our client, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient services, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the healthcare support staff, ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences.     **Job Title:** Patient Care Coordinator

    **Location:** Fairmont, WV

    Pay Range:

    **Shift:** 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Manage patient intake and discharge processes to ensure seamless transitions of care

    + Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and support administrative tasks such as processing claims and payments

    + Schedule appointments and coordinate clinic operations for efficiency

    + Interact with patients, address inquiries, and provide necessary information to enhance patient satisfaction

    + Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records regularly

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Compassionate approach with a focus on patient well-being

    + Excellent organizational skills to handle administrative responsibilities effectively

    + Ability to pass a drug test and background check

    + Experience in medical patient care and clerical tasks is preferred but not required
