We're seeking a strategic Senior HR Business Partner to power SCOT's (Supply Chain Optimization Technologies) trajectory by ensuring we have the right talent mix, senior leadership, capabilities and culture to revolutionize Amazon's global supply chain through AI innovation. Based in Bellevue, WA, this role offers the opportunity to shape one of Amazon's most transformative organizations.
Key job responsibilities
The Impact You'll Make
This isn't just about "keeping the lights on" - you'll be:
• Supporting VP/ Director-level executives in SCOT to shape strategic people initiatives
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational design and effectiveness to build customer-centric, AI-driven organizations
• Driving talent strategies that support our ambitious technical and operational goals
• Building organizational structures that foster innovation and cross-team collaboration
• Drive culture and manage change initiatives that foster innovation and cross-team collaboration
• Drive organizational health and engagement by improving employee experience
• Partners with HR Centers of Excellence like Talent Management, Compensation, Recruitment, to execute transformational people programs, talent cycles including calibration, compensation reviews

• Translating business priorities into actionable people strategies and scalable mechanisms
• Lead talent development initiatives, programs and succession planning
• Analyze workforce and organization health data to deliver insights that drive business decisions
• Guide organizational change in a fast-paced environment
• Develop solutions for complex people challenges across global teams
• Partner with leaders to build and maintain a Day 1 culture where top talent thrives

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of HR experience
- Experience coaching senior leaders and managers with strong talent assessment skills
- Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, HR, or a related field
- 5+ years of technology recruiting experience
- 2+ years of Problem Solve process path experience
- Experience working with global teams, driving organizational change initiatives, and developing talent management plans for a global organization
- Experience recognizing a challenge and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
