Execute the transition of the engineering design of a custom electrical and mechanical solution into a product that can be built in a manufacturing environment and migrated into a general manufacturing plant.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES List the primary duties and responsibilities required to perform this job in order of importance; typically 4 to 6 key responsibilities.
• Interpret and take action from electrical and mechanical schematics in order to build a product.
• Change or red line any design changes or mistakes.
• Communicate the technical changes and instructions into a format that can be used both by other less skilled production operators and to design engineers.
• Physically build higher end product solutions as requested by management.
• Lead project teams on the floor that are partnering on a given solution.
• Provide team leadership to project teams.
• Execute inspecting, testing and evaluation of products built.
• Provide recommendations to improve quality processes internally within the business unit.
• Identify root cause analysis regarding design issues and suggest solutions.
• Create technical work instructions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Associates Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada):
SKILLS
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Strong problem solving skills.
3. General knowledge of the Engineering both electrical and mechanical.
4. Strong computer skills.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
General Office - Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Work may require excessive bending or stooping.
Employee required to use hand tools.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data. Employee required to calibrate precise measurements. Employee required to problem-solve.

M-TH 1pm-11:30pm Second shift.
**Pay Details:** $24.42 per hour
