    Job Title: Manual Machinist** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for a first shift position from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This role requires expertise in machining operations and working from blueprints, using both manual and CNC mills and lathes.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate the Daewoo CNC Milling Machine equipped with Fanuc controls.

    + Machine parts from carbon and alloy steel according to blueprints.

    + Set up parts and perform machining operations such as drilling and milling, both vertically and horizontally.

    + Use basic hand tools and most tooling to machine welds off components.

    + Repair parts including manholes, castings, and holes.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with Manual Mill, CNC Mill, and Lathe.

    + At least 1 year of recent experience in machining from blueprints.

    + 1 year or more experience using hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with lathe machines and micrometres.

    + Familiarity with Fanuc controls.

    + Ability to set up machining operations.

    + Open to CNC machinists willing to train and learn manual machining.

    Work Environment

The facility primarily manufactures over 160 parts for US Steel and supports steel mills and other large industrial facilities, offering a dynamic and engaging work setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Butler, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
