Job Title: Rewind Operator** **Job Description

The Rewind Operator is responsible for operating rewind machinery to convert large rolls into smaller finished rolls according to specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate rewind equipment.

+ Inspect product quality during runs and take corrective actions.

+ Complete job paperwork accurately.

+ Maintain productivity standards while minimizing waste.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in labelling, inspection, print, and slitter operations.

+ Ability to inspect finished products and splice to remove defects.

+ Proficiency in loading small rolls onto spindles.

+ Forklift operation, inventory management, and packaging skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse with strict safety standards. Be prepared for physical demands, including standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion. Experience exposure to noise and moving equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
