Job Title:** **Welder – 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

**Location:** Bettendorf, IA

**Shift:** 1st Shift / 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

**Pay:** $23–$25/hr

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled **Welder** to join our team on either 1st or 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong **MIG welding** experience, the ability to read blueprints, and interpret weld symbols. **TIG welding** experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding and grinding to clean up weld metal.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.

+ Use calipers and micrometers

+ Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

+ Assist with prepping bays alongside helpers.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols.

+ Experience with fabrication.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Welding certificate from a high school or technical school.

+ TIG welding experience is a plus.

Work Environment

+ Work in a well-equipped weld shop with up to 20 welders.

+ Initial training for 1–2 weeks with a manager, followed by independent work with occasional check-ins.

+ Dress code: jeans (no holes), boots, and T-shirt. Dress warmly in winter as doors may be open.

+ Weld helmet required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
