Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Forklift Operator to contribute to the success of our operations by ensuring that ingredients, packaging, and finished goods are handled correctly. The operator will support processes for inbound, outbound, storage, and selection of production work orders, ensuring high integrity of product quality and food safety. The position involves working with warehouse processes and strategies to enhance safety, speed, and inventory accuracy. The start time for this role is 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, complete receiving logs, and store products in designated areas.
+ Ensure products are stored in the correct locations, areas are secure, and all finished goods are properly wrapped.
+ Allocate raw materials and packaging accurately according to production requests.
+ Load transfers and complete documentation in systems accurately.
+ Communicate any warehouse or team member concerns to management.
+ Comprehend and communicate written policies, quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
+ Comply with HACCP-plan and food safety requirements.
+ Accurately label and store ingredients, packaging, and finished pallets at proper temperatures and locations.
+ Fulfill production ingredient orders and ensure timely and complete delivery.
+ Enter data daily into PO Update and inventory tracking systems accurately.
+ Complete transfers to cold storage locations accurately and timely prior to dispatch.
+ Load customer pickups accurately and timely before dispatch.
+ Complete forklift training at hire and every three years for continued certification.
+ Maintain regular and consistent punctual attendance.
+ Recognize others and suggest thoughtful ideas to build team morale.
+ Notify management of any potential food safety or quality issues.
+ Ensure occupational safety is prioritized in the warehouse and report any unsafe equipment or behavior.
+ Understand and commit to following GMP and Food Safety practices to comply with SQF and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in utilizing forklift and pallet jack powered equipment (1-3 years).
+ Experience in perishable warehouse operations or a related area (1-3 years).
+ Forklift Certification, pallet jack certification, and a valid driver's license.
+ Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to understand written and verbal policies, specifications, and safety standards.
+ Proficient with basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
+ Ability to communicate effectively with management and follow strict safety, food security, and GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Desirable high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Computer skills are a plus but not required.
+ Growth mindset, picking, loading, general labor, RF scanner, unloading, and shipping experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
