    Job Title: Material Control Specialist I** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Control Specialist I to join our team. This role involves managing and processing cargo, receiving shipments, and ensuring efficient operations within a warehouse setting.

    Responsibilities

    + Process cargo and receive shipments.

    + Unload inventory from trucks and stock items.

    + Operate a sit-down forklift, both indoors and outdoors, to transport freight and materials to designated areas.

    + Assist with crane operations in the yard, including loading containers and blocking/bracing materials.

    + Lift materials to load flat racks and containers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in warehouse operations and forklift driving.

    + Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

    + Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with crane operations is a plus.

    + Must have naval base access.

    Work Environment

    This position is located at Port Hueneme Base, working in open environments with variable temperatures depending on the weather. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of PORT HUENEME CBC BASE, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
