    Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves working with hand, power, and hydraulic tools in a large manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or manuals, and be comfortable with metric and imperial measurements.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize hand, power, and hydraulic tools with proficiency.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints, manuals, or work instructions.

    + Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly tasks.

    + Maintain accuracy in measurement conversions between metric and imperial systems.

    + Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months’ experience with hand, power, and hydraulic tools.

    + Proficiency in using tape measures with metric and imperial conversions.

    + Experience working with blueprints, manuals, or work instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No high school diploma or GED required.

    + At least 6 months of prior assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.

    Work Environment

    The work environment requires metatarsal steel toes, safety glasses, and hearing protection, all of which will be provided. The setting can be dark, musky, and dirty in some areas, with concrete floors where you'll stand 75% of the time or more. The typical attire includes jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, while shorts and sweatpants are not permitted. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with first shift from 5am to 3:30pm and second shift from 3:30pm to 2am, including overtime on Fridays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
