Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician/Controls Tech

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance/Controls Technician for the 3rd shift at a distribution center located in Groveland, FL. The role involves a focus of 80% on electrical and 20% on mechanical tasks, including PLC troubleshooting, schematics, and automation machines, with the primary automated machine on site being a tray washer. Responsibilities also include mechanical maintenance tasks such as working with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and bearings, as well as facilities maintenance, which may involve HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.

Pay & Shift:

Shift: Saturday 11PM - Wednesday 11AM 4 12s -overtime open!

_Saturday 11pm - Sunday 11am_

_Sunday 11pm - Monday 11am_

_Monday 11pm - Tuesday 11am_

_Tuesday 11pm - Wednesday 11am_

Pay: $32-$38/hr

Responsibilities

+ Install, repair, or replace electrical devices including transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switches.

+ Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

+ Install, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and Programmable Logic Controllers.

+ Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

+ Service and repair material handling equipment.

+ Monitor the main electrical panel and troubleshoot as necessary.

+ Repair and maintain boilers, water heaters, water conditioning equipment, and all water distribution systems.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical and automation experience.

+ PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

+ Experience with mechanical maintenance including pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and bearings.

+ Experience with controls such as HMI, VFD, and robotics.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical degree preferred.

+ High school diploma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
