    Job Title: Warehouse Specialist III** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Specialist III to efficiently manage warehouse operations, including the handling, storage, and dispatch of materials. This role is critical to ensuring that materials are received, processed, and distributed accurately and on time.

    Responsibilities

    + Download, verify, and segregate raw materials, shipping components, and miscellaneous materials upon receipt in the warehouse.

    + Generate necessary labels according to the inventory system to identify all materials received.

    + Prepare, palletize, and identify materials for location placement.

    + Transfer palletized material to designated storage areas.

    + Register and locate materials in specific inventory control system locations.

    + Dispatch components for production orders based on the current production itinerary.

    + Prepare clearance documentation and execute transactions in inventory control.

    + Locate returned materials from manufacturing areas.

    + Transport materials between buildings using a closed box truck.

    + Participate in physical inventory counting with the accounting department.

    + Handle the destruction of obsolete, rejected, or expired materials.

    + Receive, inspect, and discharge solvent tanks in the designated area.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating forklifts, both electric and manual.

    + 5 to 7 years of experience in material handling or functional warehouse areas, including receipt, storage, dispatch, and shipment.

    + Basic math skills and knowledge of computerized systems.

    + Understanding of good manufacturing practices and safety regulations.

    + Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma.

    + Driver's license with experience in driving forklifts.

    + Ability to work under minimal supervision in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing priorities.

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM, with the need for flexibility for occasional shifts. The role involves handling heavy-duty equipment and working in various functional areas as needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Waco, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
