    NOW HIRING HOTEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS IN MIAMI, FL

    Job Description

    The Facilities Technician will oversee the successful completion of daily tasks for the hotel, focusing on supervising maintenance work performed by outside vendors. Experience in HVAC systems, especially for large buildings like hotels, is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and ensure the quality of maintenance work done by outside contractors.

    + Utilize knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and painting to oversee vendor tasks.

    + Identify and discuss any discrepancies in the work performed to approve the completion of tasks.

    + Commute between hotel locations in Brickell and a nearby hotel using the tri-rail.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience, specifically in building maintenance within apartment complexes or hotels.

    + Ability to troubleshoot issues for hotel guests, such as malfunctioning automatic shades or televisions.

    + Demonstrated strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and email.

    + Customer service experience in previous roles.

    + Proficiency in navigating a tablet and digital technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in hotel or apartment complex maintenance, specifically with HVAC and/or boilers.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.

    + Technical savviness and familiarity with building maintenance systems.

    + EPA universal certification for HVAC is advantageous but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    The role offers two positions, one at the Brickell location and another near the World Center. Shifts are either from 12pm to 8:30pm or 10am to 6:30pm, with days off on Wednesday and Thursday. This dynamic position involves working in a digitized hotel environment without a traditional front desk, providing a modern and tech-savvy workplace.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
