Job Title: Production Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team making roof flashings and other roof accessories. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
+ Operate machinery and tools for cutting, bending, and assembling sheet metal components.
+ Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
+ Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
+ Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Basic labor experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate tools and machinery.
+ English speaking skills and comfort in a Spanish-speaking environment.
+ Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
+ Willingness to learn and assist in other departments.
+ Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in soldering and/or sheet metal.
+ Experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment
The department operates within a busy and dynamic manufacturing facility focused on the fabrication of sheet metal products. The role involves significant hands-on work, including operating machinery and assembling products. Safety is a top priority, with PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots required. The environment is fast-paced, with an emphasis on collaboration, safety, and quality. Training and cross-training opportunities are provided for continuous improvement and professional growth. Employees must be adaptable to changing demands and priorities. The structured workflow includes clear processes for production and quality control. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. Steel toe boots are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
