    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our production processes, handling bags of product and ensuring the smooth operation of the production lines. This position involves frequent handling of bags ranging from 1 to 50 pounds, with occasional handling of bags up to 100 pounds. You will be responsible for reading ingredients, counting bags on pallets, and efficiently managing various tasks on the production lines.

    Responsibilities

    + Read ingredients and count the number of bags on a pallet.

    + Place scoops in cans/jars/buckets and secure lids.

    + Stack bags/cans of product as they come off the production lines.

    + Seal bags/cans of product as they come off the production lines.

    + Bag product as it comes off the production lines.

    + Dump bags of product into appropriate equipment on the production lines.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general production and lifting.

    + Proficiency in bagging, assembly, packaging, and machine operation.

    + Ability to handle quality control and production line tasks.

    + Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and loading equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with machine operating and picking.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

    + Comfortable working with food particles in the air.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a food production facility where food particles may float in certain areas. Safety PPE is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment. The role offers multiple shifts: 1st Shift from 7am to 3pm, 2nd Shift from 3pm to 11pm, and 3rd Shift from 11pm to 7am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $22.41/hr.
