Job Title: Vertical Lathe Machinist

Pay: $20-$25

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vertical Lathe Machinist responsible for setting up, editing, and operating a Vertical Lathe. The candidate will utilize blueprints or engineer drawings to set up parts and create layouts with precision.

Responsibilities

+ Set up, edit, and operate Vertical Lathe.

+ Use blueprints or engineer drawings to prepare parts and layouts.

+ Ensure precision in measurement and layout using various measuring tools.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with manual lathe and manual machining.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Strong experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Solid math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with manual machines.

+ Knowledge of the programming and operation of lathes and mills.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing shop with conditions that may include heat and loud noise. The position is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm, with training during the day shift for a couple of weeks from 6am to 3pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
