Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic environment. The role involves assisting with reactionary and proactive maintenance, as well as installing new equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance on injection molding machines.

+ Conduct conveyor maintenance, repair, and complete belt replacements.

+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps and hoses.

+ Utilize ladder logic for PLC troubleshooting.

+ Repair and maintain robotics, including 6 axis systems.

+ Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

+ Execute electrical maintenance involving 480V systems, schematic reading, rewiring, and wire pulling.

+ Maintain pneumatic systems by replacing filters, checking for leaks, and repairing/replacing cylinders and seals.

+ Manage chiller and air dryer systems.

+ Perform welding and fabrication tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Maintenance or Electrical Degree with 3-4 years of experience.

+ Mechanical skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Electrical skills with 480V systems.

+ Robotics maintenance expertise.

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Background in plastics is advantageous but not required.

+ Experience with Allen-Bradley systems.

Work Environment

Work during the night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 7 pm to 7 am in a non-climate controlled, hot and loud environment with a distinctive hot plastic smell. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes and appropriate tops and bottoms, allowing tattoos and hair color as long as they are not offensive. We maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
