Job Title: Industrial Painter** **Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying, with the ability to read both metric and standard tape measures. This role requires a minimum of 3 to 6 months of industrial painting experience or a recently completed paint certification course.
Responsibilities
+ Perform industrial painting tasks including sanding, priming, taping, and finishing.
+ Operate spray equipment for painting applications.
+ Read and interpret tape measures in both metric and standard measurements.
+ Maintain production standards and quality.
+ Utilize electric hand grinding and overhead crane operation as needed.
+ Engage in sand/shot blasting tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 to 6 months of industrial painting experience or recently completed paint certification course.
+ Ability to read tape measures in metric and standard.
+ Experience with HVLP, electrostatic, and spray painting techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electric hand grinding.
+ Familiarity with overhead crane operation.
+ Ability to meet production standards.
+ Experience with sand/shot blasting.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial environment that is loud, dusty, and dirty, with exposure to rust and metal particles. You will be on your feet 100% of the time, working on concrete floors and platforms, and may need to climb step stools. Work alongside machinists, welders, assemblers, and forklift operators. Be prepared to work both 1st and 2nd shifts, with the potential for 10 to 12-hour days including overtime. The work schedule is from 3:30 pm to 2 am, Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.25/hr.
