    Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description

     

    Join a fast-paced startup environment manufacturing lifesaving medical devices for hospitals. As an Assembly Technician, you will primarily work with plastic components, assembling chest blood pumps used in surgeries. This position is entry-level, involving tasks such as gluing, cutting, inserting tubes, and labeling. It offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the production of essential medical equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble disposable medical supplies, focusing on plastic components.

    + Perform tasks such as gluing, cutting, inserting tubes, and applying labels.

    + Complete extensive paperwork to ensure product traceability and reliability.

    + Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality standards are met.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of experience in small hand assemblies.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools for tasks such as screwing, gluing, or soldering.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in mechanical assembly and working in a clean room is advantageous.

    + Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

    Work Environment

    Assembly Technicians work in a clean room environment, requiring specific attire such as a hairnet, gown, and designated shoes. The work schedule includes 36 regular hours per week with every other Friday offering 5 hours of paid overtime. Equipment Technicians operate in a non-clean room, office-type environment, utilizing computers regularly.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
