    Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in both manual and CNC machining. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting parts to drawing requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, reporting needed repairs, and reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine setup procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

    + Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining work based on work instructions.

    + Inspect parts to ensure they meet drawing requirements.

    + Troubleshoot malfunctions and report needed repairs.

    + Review setup sheets and specifications to determine setup procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in CNC machine operation, including 3+ years of experience.

    + Proficiency in manual machining and CNC machine operation.

    + Setup experience is preferred.

    + Precision machining skills.

    + Familiarity with blueprint reading.

    + Experience with Fanuc controls is helpful.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with vertical lathe operation is a plus.

    + Knowledge of blohm creek grinder, 3 axis Haas, VTL, and vertical turning lathe.

    + Ability to hold tight tolerances.

    Work Environment

    The position is available on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 4, 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. The manufacturing warehouse is well-lit, clean, and professional, with no safety concerns. It is air-conditioned but can get warm during the summer. There is a mandatory 3-month training period on the 1st shift for all 2nd shift positions, after which employees will receive a 10% shift differential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
