We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Fabrication Machine Operator** to join our team. This role involves operating various machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working primarily with pipe and sheet metal. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machine operation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the shop.

+ Schedule: **1st shift** **5:30am to 3:00pm Monday thru Friday**

+ Pay Rate: **$20** /hour (30.00/hour)

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Operate fabrication machines such as saws and grooving machines; assist with universal welders as needed.

+ Follow all established **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** for pipe fabrication.

+ Accurately measure pipe lengths using a tape measure and perform cutting, threading, and beveling using band saws, torches, and Landis machines.

+ Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.

+ Move loose or bundled pipe within the yard using proper safety practices.

+ Perform die checks, bundling, and general assembly tasks.

+ Inspect and maintain forklift equipment in functional condition.

+ Observe all safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping.

Your Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ **6 months of recent industrial work experience** .

+ Machine operation experience (saws required; universal welder experience is a plus).

+ Ability to read and understand a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.

+ Familiarity with fabrication tools and processes.

+ Ability to lift up to **50 lbs** and work with pipe and sheet metal daily.

+ Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing with a stable work history (or currently enrolled in school/recent graduate).

+ Flexible and willing to train on all areas of the shop.

+ Team-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience operating grooving machines, saws, and universal welders.

+ Knowledge of safe work practices in a pipe yard environment.

+ Ability to calculate product quantities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Additional Details

+ This is a **non-welding position** .

+ Overtime opportunities available on Saturdays.

+ Training provided for machine operation and safety compliance (OSHA and company policies).

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
